    CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

    Dan is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of Innovate. With over 20 years NHS experience and a focus on delivering strategic transformational change, Dan takes pride in helping partners operationalise their strategic vision.

  • Phil Johns

    CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

    Phil is responsible for delivering the technology services provided by Innovate. He has worked in commercial and healthcare technology for 25 years, and still stands by the mantra of ‘have you tried turning it off and on again?

  • Jo Bangoura

    DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMES & DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

    Jo’s ethos of partnership working underpins her approach to digital transformation and change. Having worked on complex digital programmes and with innovative start-ups in the NHS, she is committed to realising benefits of new digital systems for the NHS.

  • Kate Hughes

    DIRECTOR OF PEOPLE & ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

    Kate leads HR and OD and has worked in Human Resources for over 20 years. Kate is an advocate of culture before process, and continually works to maintain our staff-led company with flexible and forward thinking working practices.

    DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

    Helen leads the Innovate Finance Team. She is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has 20 years’ experience across healthcare and private sector finance.

    ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, PROGRAMMES & DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

    Alan leads the Digital Transformation & Project teams within Innovate. He has over 20 years experience in delivering digital transformation within a variety of healthcare settings.

    ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, STRATEGIC OPERATIONS & INNOVATION

    Sarah is responsible for supporting Innovate to deliver successfully. She has worked in technology since 2002 and is committed to healthcare being a leader in digital innovation.

  • Mike Conlon

    ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

    Mike leads the technical IT operations for Innovate and has a real passion for high-quality service. He has over 25 years experience working in IT environments across Warwickshire and the West Midlands.

Innovate is committed to ensuring the voice of staff is heard, and one of the ways we do this is through our Staff Forum. The forum is made up of both elected staff representatives and members of the leadership team; and provides a way to ensure staff are involved in decision making at Innovate, and that all ideas are heard.

The forum meets once a month, and colleagues throughout Innovate are encouraged to reach out to staff representatives if they have any questions, concerns or points they would like to raise with the leadership team.

  • Jane Lockwood

    Jane is our Lead Support Officer in our Business Change team. Jane is particularly passionate about supporting neurodiverse individuals and values the importance of providing an anonymous voice for our people.

  • Isa Ahmed

    Isa is an ICT SOC Support Engineer with a passion for fostering positive relationships and advocating for the needs of his colleagues. He is committed to promoting open communication and collaboration within the organisation.

  • Rebecca Dolman

    Becca is a Project Support Officer in our Business Support team. She has a keen interest in wellbeing and mental health and is passionate about providing support to those she works with.

  • Chris Turner

    Chris works in Digital Training and has over fifteen years experience working in both the NHS and private healthcare environments. Chris is committed to supporting his colleague’s wellbeing and ensuring that all staff have a voice.

  • James Haddon

    James is an ICT Asset Administrator in our Technology Services division. James champions inclusivity and building strong working relationships. He recognises the importance of listening to others and ensuring that everyone is being heard.

  • Daniel Sturgess

    Daniel works in Registration Authorities and Smartcards and is also an accredited Union Steward and Health and Safety Officer. He’s passionate about representing colleagues and making sure people receive the proper information and guidance for things that affect them.
