Careers FAQs

  • How do I apply to join Innovate?

The easiest way is to search our current vacancies and you will discover how to apply in the detail of each job advert. This will normally be through NHS jobs via an application form, or directly to the company via a CV and covering letter.

  • Can I apply for more than one job?

Yes! If we have more than one vacancy open that you think you’re qualified for, we would encourage you to apply to as many opportunities as you’re interested in.

  • Does Innovate consider speculative applications?

Yes! Innovate is always on the look out for talent. Please email us your CV and a short cover letter highlighting the types of roles you’re interested in. Email: contactus@innovatehs.co.uk

  • How soon will I hear about my job application?

We aim to respond to all applicants within a week of the vacancy closing. Sometimes, due to the volume of applications we receive, it is not always possible to respond to each individually. If you have not received a response within four weeks of the vacancy closing then please consider the application unsuccessful.

  • What are Innovate's normal working hours?

Full time contracts are paid at a standard 37.5 hours per week. However, depending on the role and the team you work in, this will vary. For example, our technical teams require some out-of-hours and on-call work. We also have project ‘go lives’ that necessitate out-of-hours work, but we make sure our staff take that time back to re-charge.

  • What day would I be paid?

You will be paid into your bank account on the last working day of each month. If the pay date falls on a weekend or bank holiday, it will be the last working day before that date.

  • When does my holiday period run from?

The holiday period at Innovate follows the financial year and runs from 1 April to 31 March.

  • Can I work from home?

Innovate operates both a flexible and hybrid working culture, which allows for home-based working as long as it fits within your role and the service. Whether you have a caring responsibility, you live out of the Warwickshire area, or you just want to reduce your own carbon footprint, we strive to make our workspace as supportive as we can.

  • What should I expect during the interview process?

The interview process is one of our best opportunities to get to know the potential of a candidate; and for the candidate to get to know us. In most cases, candidates will be interviewed by the hiring manager or sometimes with other team members.

During the interview, you could be asked questions about your work experience, your vision for the role, as well as how you think you may be able to bring value to our business. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask any of your own questions.
