Digital Training Manager


Innovate are looking for a Digital Training Manager to lead the team of IT Trainers within the company. They will also lead on the strategic planning for the delivery of IT Training with the new Electronic Patient Record system which is being implemented in the next two to three years. They will be working with the Programme Implementation Team, and with the wider Management and Directorship Team across the hospital sites, as well as in partnership with other organisations and key stakeholders. They will also be responsible for the management of delivery of training in all other clinical systems used by the organisations, and other partners.

The position requires significant experience in the strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of complex training requirements across a range of end users. Experience of managing staff, as well as delivering training packages are also integral requirements of this position.  The ability to manage a very variable workload is essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure, in a flexible way, and to short and variable deadlines. This work involves partnership working with a diverse range of stakeholders so excellent communication skills are essential.

 This position will require some flexibility around working patterns in order to provide the necessary support to the service. It will include some out of hours working, to include evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays. Innovate Healthcare Services supports staff to work in an agile way, to include on-site/in person working where required.

Salary: Spot salary of £40,000 or NHS Band 7 (Innovate is able to offer NHS Terms and Conditions for staff currently employed within the NHS or within the last 12 months)

Contract: Permanent
